HOW TO EFFECTIVELY MANAGE LITTLE DATA ON YOUR ANDRIOD PHONE

Yea we all know with the advent of Android phones, users have been distressed by the huge amount of data usage by these Smartphone and yet our beloved networks providers couldn't help alleviate this problem by providing us with relative data bundles.

Well there is a place for managing your data on the Android phone settings.

Navigate to the  phone settings,

then click on data usage, you will see your data statistics there,

Select the active sim where you have the data on

Then click the options and select restrict background data.

After clicking that you will see a notification informing you that your background data is restricted.

So that acts like a firewall preventing any background app from making use of your data

Note: This stops only background data. You can still browse normally but that is only when u open the app in the foreground. All other apps in the background will still be firewalled.

You can also restrict individual apps if you wish not to restrict all background apps at once.
